Roter Veltliner is an earthy old white-wine grape with pale-red berries at full ripeness. A speciality at Mantlerhof with a long tradition. It is the parent of Neuburger, Frühroter Veltliner and Rotgipfler, and was the first grape variety admitted to the Slow Food "Ark of Taste". This Roter Veltliner is classically aged in stainless steel. It is the result of several picking passes, with very careful separation and selection. This wine is the heart of our Roter Veltliner range.
