VELTLINERIN — documented as far back as the 9th century. The name points to the town and monastery of Moosburg near Freising in Bavaria. This is the estate's only vineyard laid out along the fall line of the Gobelsberg. The site was replanted in 2000 and is now coming into its best years… Margit gave this wine a feminine twist, naming it the "Veltlinerin©". Traditionally a somewhat softer, more elegant Veltliner that embodies the feminine side of our style.
